Birch Honey Spice kitchen Yummy!!

This kitchen in the San Ramon hills was completely transformed from an old, closed off space, to an open roomy kitchen. These cabinets are beautifully stained maple, with a raised panel door, with plenty of custom trim accents to make this kitchen pop.  The backsplash is a tumbled stone(travertine) with several metallic tile accents.  From head to toe this kitchen was gutted.  An old 6″ soffit was removed, bringing the ceiling height to a standard 8′, upgraded lighting, electrical and granite countertops.  The center behind the stove once was a window looking into another room with the sink in front of it.  The new design relocated the dual fuel range to the sinks old location and the sink moved over to the ovens old location.  The pictures show some of what the kitchen looked like before and how the space was completely isolated from the families living room.
